Hi, I’m Iliya. I’m interested in the stories that connect people, places, and time.

My family history reaches back to the 18th century, to my earliest known ancestor, Georgi, who lived under the Ottoman Empire. That connection to the past has shaped how I think about identity, resilience, and change.

Today, I work with domains, DNS, open-source software, and digital infrastructure. For me, technology is not separate from history. It is another way people build, connect, preserve, and move forward.
